Terms of service

The service

Climber is an AI assistant for SEO research and writing. Its answers come from third-party data and AI models: search data are estimates, and AI-written content can contain mistakes. Review everything before you rely on it or publish it.

No ranking guarantees. We don't guarantee any ranking, traffic, visibility in search engines or AI assistants, or business result.

Accounts

You need an account to use Climber. Keep your sign-in secure; you're responsible for what happens in your account. The account owner manages billing and team members, and is responsible for the members they invite.

Subscriptions and free trial

• Climber is sold as a monthly or yearly subscription. Prices and what each plan includes are on the pricing page.
• New accounts get a 7-day free trial with 30 credits. A card is required to start it. One trial per account.
• Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your subscription starts automatically and your card is charged for the plan you chose.
• Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled. We may change prices for future periods; we'll tell you at least 30 days before a price change affects you.

Credits

• 1 credit = 1 message. Every message you send uses one credit, whether it's a research question, a follow-up or an article.
• Each plan includes a number of credits per month (also on yearly plans). Unused credits roll over for one month and then expire.
• Credits have no cash value, can't be transferred and are not refundable. They end when your subscription ends.

Cancellation

You can cancel any time in Billing → Manage billing (our payment processor's billing portal). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period: you keep access until then, and you won't be charged again.

Refunds

Payments are non-refundable, including for partly used billing periods and unused credits, except where the law requires a refund. If something went wrong (for example a duplicate charge), email hello@climberseo.com within 30 days and we'll make it right.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Add sites or connect accounts you're not authorised to manage.
• Use Climber to copy other sites' content, create spam or deceptive content, or infringe anyone's rights.
• Break the law, or use Climber for anything harmful, fraudulent or abusive.
• Try to access other accounts' data, get around usage limits or credits, overload the service, or reverse-engineer it.
• Resell or share access to Climber outside your account and its invited members.

Your content

You own the content you bring and the content Climber creates for you. You give us permission to process it only to provide the service. You're responsible for what you publish.

Connected services (Google, WordPress) are used only as you instruct. Climber saves WordPress posts as drafts and never publishes them for you.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or put the service or other users at risk. You can stop using Climber and delete your account at any time (see the privacy policy).

Disclaimer and limitation of liability

Climber is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows.

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits, revenue, traffic or data. Our total liability for any claim relating to Climber is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Mexico, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes will be heard in the state or federal courts located in New Mexico, unless the law where you live gives you a different right.

Changes

We may update these terms. We'll update the date at the top and email account holders about material changes before they take effect. Using Climber after that means you accept the updated terms.
