Climber uses only the cookies and browser storage it needs to work. There are no analytics or advertising cookies.
Cookies
- Sign-in session (sb-…-auth-token): keeps you signed in to app.climberseo.com. Set when you sign in, removed when you sign out.
- climber_next: remembers which page to open after you sign in. Lasts 15 minutes.
- climber_oauth: a signed security cookie used only while you connect a Google account. Lasts 10 minutes.
Local storage
These items stay in your browser and are never sent to advertisers:
- climber:firstQuestion: a question you typed on the homepage, kept until your first scan starts.
- climber:activeSite: which of your sites you had open last.
- climber:sidebar / climber:sidebarWithArticle / climber:articleWidth: your sidebar and editor layout preferences.
- climber:pending:… and climber:afterBilling (session storage): a message waiting to be sent, and where to continue after checkout.
- Flags remembering that you dismissed a banner.

If we ever add analytics, we'll update this page and ask for consent where the law requires it.
